On Monday December 15th, the young volunteers of Sherry Music Academy Youth Chamber Orchestra gave a special performance at the Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith. Patients, staff and visitors were entertained with a selection of Christmas favourites from classical to pop, and the occasion was graced by the presence of local MP the Hon. Ben Coleman. To attain our goal of “Enriching Our Community with Music”, we are now collaborating with medical foundations and music therapy organizations to bring comfort to people in need, and the young musicians of our Youth Chamber Orchestra are keen to be involved in making a social impact.
The Orchestra will be returning again to this favoured venue very soon in the new year.
