December 2025 saw the launch of the Sherry Music Academy Full-Year Programme. The year began with three days of intensive rehearsals and training for the Christmas concert, which was enthusiastically received by a full house at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. On Monday December 15th, the young volunteers of Sherry Music Academy Youth Chamber Orchestra gave a special performance at the Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith. In line with our goal of “Enriching Our Community with Music”, on Wednesday December 17th the volunteers of the Youth Chamber Orchestra joined forces with Chiltern Music Therapy for a charity performance at Euston Station. After playing a selection of favourites from our Christmas concert, we combined with the Chiltern choir singing carols, to a concourse filled with commuters who stopped to enjoy the performance. On November 19 th ,  Sherry Music Academy held a workshop at Sir John Lillie Primary School. Pupils were introduced to the “Three Italian Sisters” - violin, viola and cello. After learning something about the instruments, the school was treated to individual and ensemble musical performances. Then there was a singalong in which the school choir was accompanied by the Sherry Chamber Orchestra. A good time was had by all, and we look forward to returning soon to Sir John Lille

The 2025 Sherry Music Academy Summer Camp was held this August at Wycombe Abbey School, and a great time of music learning and holiday fun was had by all.
