Enriching Sir John Lillie School with Music

On November 19 th , Sherry Music Academy held a workshop at Sir John Lillie Primary School. Pupils were introduced to the “Three Italian Sisters” - violin, viola and cello. After learning something about the instruments, the school was treated to individual and ensemble musical performances. Then there was a singalong in which the school choir was accompanied by the Sherry Chamber Orchestra. A good time was had by all, and we look forward to returning soon to Sir John Lille

Sherry Youth Chamber Orchestra Volunteers entertain at King’s CollegeHospital

Monday October 27 marked two important steps forward for Sherry Music Academy! One of our major goals as a charity is to “relieve the needs of people who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm by providing comfort in the form of outreach musical entertainment”. On that day, King’s College Hospital Fetal Medicine Unit kindly opened their doors to give us our first opportunity. Summer School 2025 In Review

The 2025 Sherry Music Academy Summer Camp was held this August at Wycombe Abbey School, and a great time of music learning and holiday fun was had by all. Twenty-two students, seven tutors, three visiting RCM professors and the Wycombe Abbey Head of Strings delivered musical masterclasses in the superb facilities of the UK’s leading girls’ school.
