December 2025 saw the launch of the Sherry Music Academy Full-Year Programme. The year began with three days of intensive rehearsals and training for the Christmas concert, which was enthusiastically received by a full house at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. SIR JOHN LILLIE On Wednesday December 17th the Sherry Youth Orchestra returned to Sir John Lillie School Fulham, for a performance of our 2025 Christmas concert. The staff and pupils were treated to a selection of seasonal favourites from classical to pop, and by special request from the audience we added Wham's “Last Christmas” with the whose school singing along. As usual we received a rapturous response, and more than a few tears were shed on this warm,festive occasion. Th

On November 19 th ,  Sherry Music Academy held a workshop at Sir John Lillie Primary School. Pupils were introduced to the “Three Italian Sisters” - violin, viola and cello. After learning something about the instruments, the school was treated to individual and ensemble musical performances. Then there was a singalong in which the school choir was accompanied by the Sherry Chamber Orchestra. A good time was had by all, and we look forward to returning soon to Sir John Lille
