In July 2026 Sherry Music Academy held its first international concert tour, taking in three cities in Northern Italy. The first performance was a glittering soiree at Sporting Club Monza, overlooking the internationally famous car racing track. Next was an appearance at the ultra modern Teatro Le Muse in Brescia, an ancient city with its unique twin cathedrals. Our Summer Gala Concert was held at the Royal Academy of Music Duke’s Hall on July 5th, marking the high point of our 2025-2026 yearly programme. The Repertoire included Handel, Vivaldi, Peter Warlock and Benjamin Britten, and was rapturously received by a large audience. We all look forward to next year’s event which will take place on July 4th 2027, again at this magnificent venue. December 2025 saw the launch of the Sherry Music Academy Full-Year Programme. The year began with three days of intensive rehearsals and training for the Christmas concert, which was enthusiastically received by a full house at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. It was a great pleasure to see members old and new making friends, and bringing the Christmas spirit to our multicultural audience.
