Launch of Full-Year Programme

December 2025 saw the launch of the Sherry Music Academy Full-Year Programme. The year began with three days of intensive rehearsals and training for the Christmas concert, which was enthusiastically received by a full house at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. It was a great pleasure to see members old and new making friends, and bringing the Christmas spirit to our multicultural audience. The concert also premiered our “Solo Star” feature, with Lele Zhang performing the Habanera Spanish Dance by Sarasate, and was repeated the next day at Charing Cross Hospital to benefit as many people as possible,
to meet the goal of “enriching our community with music”.
The full-year cycle will continue in 2026 with Chinese New Year, Easter and Summer Gala concerts, the last one to be held at the Royal Academy of Music Duke's Hall in July, and followed by a concert tour to Italy!
We always welcome new members to help us in continuing our good work for the community!
The Orchestra will be returning again to this favoured venue very soon in the new year.
